CAG and TCV run a litter pick this Sunday, January 8th, 2023 at Waye Avenue Open Space. Starts at 11 am and until 2 pm. TCV will also bring waders, so we can get to the rubbish in the river too.

Tribute to Stephanie Hansen aged 39
We are shocked and deeply saddened to hear about the loss of our dear friend Stephanie Hansen on New Year’s Eve. Stephanie was a beautiful young lady and a remarkable environmental heroine. Her love for the natural world was unparalleled as was her dedication to cleaning and greening Cranford. She would trek every weekend from Hayes to Cranford to help with our local projects. We will miss her laughter, her boundless energy and her fearlessness in tackling all things harmful to the environment. RIP Stef.
New Year’s Eve Litter Pick
A soaking but smashing New Years Eve litter pick off the M4 roundabout, lorry lay bys and the ghastly Junction 3 slip road. Retrieved 70 bags of rubbish, tyres and other tat.
Hoping 2023 will see people behave responsibly with their rubbish and treat the environment with respect.
