Fabulous turnout on the last day of April 2022, for the Parkway. Managed to litter pick the entire stretch from the footbridge to the M4 roundabout. Over 50 bags of rubbish whipped up including all the tiny pieces shredded from the grass cut. Thank you Cranford Action Group, Hillingdon Litter Pickers and the powerhouse Green S Welfare UK. United to a tidy local area.
The Conservation Volunteers receives grant of £211,900
TCV and the project, London’s River Crane – Reclaiming the Riverside, has been awarded a grant from the Government’s £40 million second round of the Green Recovery Challenge Fund, a multi-million pound boost for green jobs and nature recovery.
